  • Research Interests
  • Dr. Alston's primary research interest involves the interplay between race/ethnicity and adjustment to disability, particularly as it relates to African Americans with chronic illnesses. In addition, he investigates health disparities related to prostate cancer diagnosis and mortality rates for African American men.
