Graduate Research Assistant: Exercise Psychology Laboratory under the direction of Dr. Edward McAuley. Primary responsibilities include: exercise testing (maximal graded exercise tests), data collection and analysis, participant interaction, and study coordination. Information regarding specific research projects is listed below.

Activity, Gait, and Efficacy II (AGE II):A 12-month randomized controlled exercise trial examining the effect of flexibility, balance, and strength training on physical functioning and psychosocial variables. Primary responsibilities include: exercise program development, participant interaction, and data collection.

Exercise after Breast Cancer Diagnosis (BEAT II): A tapered randomized exercise and counseling controlled trial comparing a physical activity behavior change intervention to customary care. Responsibilities include participant screening, exercise intervention supervision, and data collection.

2007 to 2009

Graduate Teaching and Laboratory Assistant: Exercise Physiology Laboratory under the direction of Dr. Todd Miller. Responsibilities included: Instructing undergraduate Exercise Physiology labs and assisting in the instruction of three sections of graduate level Exercise Physiology labs. Supervising lab activities including scheduling, equipment operation, equipment repair, and exercise testing.
